Senior Account Consultant

High Wycombe to £65,000

This B2B direct marketing agency is looking for a Senior Account Consultant who will manage and build relationships with clients. This is a client-facing role that requires considerable data and direct marketing experience, both from an agency perspective and ideally client-side too.

The Account Consultant will be expected to know their clients’ business well and will have overall responsibility for the account team’s delivery of work. You will work with the business development, analysis, production and account management teams to ensure that client solutions are properly presented, briefed, costed and delivered.

This role combines practical hands on experience plus the abilty to build and develop client relationships based on added value, thought leadership and a proactive, consultative approach.

For this role they are looking for candidates who are educated to degree level and who have considerable experience in the direct marketing industry. You will have an understanding of the use of data from a marketing perspective, good interpersonal and influencing skills, management experience and a hands-on approach to your work.


Marketing Executive London £26,367

This publishing company is seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to work in their busy, friendly, marketing department, product managing your own portfolio of products within their range of journals and websites and getting involved in high-profile events.

As a team player with marketing experience, ideally gained in a publishing environment, the successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will be able to:

• Successfully plan and implement marketing strategies
• Utilise a range of marketing media, including direct mail, advertising and new media
• Effectively manage budgets to meet deadlines
• Write persuasive copy
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research
• Demonstrate excellent database and computer skills

For this role you will need proven direct marketing experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external staff at all levels, and should also be able to work both as part of a team and independently.


List Broker South West London £30K - £36K + £10K bonus

Our direct marketing services client requires a List Broker to provide clients with an outstanding list broking service. The List Broker will develop and maintain excellent relationships with a diverse range of direct and agency clients. You will need to understand client needs and use your skills and experience to manage, meet and exceed campaign expectations using a multitude of media types including direct mail, e-mail and SMS.

List Broker Responsibilities will include: -providing clients with advice based on knowledge of the data available -ensuring clients receive the data required in the format required -working with the production department to develop insight of client needs and tailored solution based on analysis and testing -developing knowledge of all industry and competitor data developments -providing feedback on sales pipeline to team members and business development

They are looking for someone with at least two years’ list broking experience and an in-depth knowledge of data sources. You need to have a commercial outlook, good negotiating skills and a good understanding of the direct marketing industry.



List Management Executive London £24K - £35K +bonus

This leading direct marketing company is looking for an individual who has a background in list sales and is experienced in cold calling to join them as a List Management Executive.

This List Management Executive role will involve:

- Prospecting for new list management opportunities
- Preparing reports for list management on names swapped and rental revenues
- Reporting to management on sales leads and sales figures
- Selling data pro-actively and effectively by researching new prospects, making sales calls via phone and updating the database with feedback, establishing broker relationships and direct end user relationships
- Facilitating good quality communications in order to promote lists
- Taking enquiries, processing count requests and submitting proposals
- Co-ordinating the supply of data for clients

They are looking for someone who has a proven ability to win new business.


New Business Consultant South West London £40K + £30K commission

This direct marketing company in South West London is looking for a New Business Consultant who will work directly with clients in this purely new business role. You will be working with some existing leads and contacting some clients who are no longer active, but mainly this role will involve building contacts from scratch.
