Business Development Executive London £36K +bonus

Our client is an exciting and successful marketing agency who requires a Business Development Executive to join the team and be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities across their four core sectors – technology, media, telecoms, financial services. You will support the account management teams and keep new clients and prospects up to date with initiatives and at the same time understand client needs in order to provide relevant solutions.

This is a unique, specialised role within the agency focusing on supporting their growth strategy and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

You must be fully capable of engaging with senior insight, strategy, marketing and innovation heads via the telephone and have the capacity to articulate clearly the client services and capabilities as appropriate.

You have excellent business development skills and strong communication and organisational skills.

You have preferably worked within an insight based agency.

Market Research Group Account Director West London £50K +comm

We are looking for a Group Account Director for this international provider of online market research, to lead one of their sales and account management teams.
This role requires a candidate with strong experience of managing a sales team, as well as experience working in the market research industry or within the Direct Marketing industry.

You need to be a confident and credible person who is able to lead and motivate a team. You also need to be a strong client facing presenter and be able to work with clients to understand requirements and offer best solutions.

If you have a strong sales background, sales management experience as well as market research or direct marketing knowledge then this could be the role for you.

Business Development Manager - Data West London £40K +car +comm

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join one of Europe's leading B2B database marketing consultancies. Our client provides database services and solutions to its blue chip client base.

Your main role will be to prospect and develop new business. You will also work with production and account management teams to ensure that data solutions are properly presented, briefed, costed and delivered to your clients.

You should be experienced in selling data solutions / direct marketing solutions, and happy in a role that is predominantly new business. You will have a good understanding of design, development, implementation and management of marketing databases, as well as a strong understanding of data quality management and data enhancement services.

This role calls for someone with excellent presentation and negotiation skills, who has experience of selling data, direct marketing and database solutions at a senior level.


Business Development Manager North London £30K - £40K +comm

Our client is the UK’s leading provider of multi-channel data solutions and is looking to recruit a confident and successful sales professional with drive and enthusiasm to join their successful Lead Generation Sales team.

The role will focus on developing and growing revenue with existing clients, as well as identifying new opportunities to win new business. You will have the ability to fact-find and negotiate in order to offer the best overall marketing solution for each client.

For this role you have a successful track record in sales within the direct marketing industry. Experience in selling consumer Lead Generation solutions delivered through telephone and online channels is also required.

Account Executive London £25K - £30K +comm

Our client is a specialist in the management and utilisation of transactional data for marketing purposes. They are looking for an Account Executive to join them as soon as possible for an initial 6 month maternity cover role that should then lead to a full time post. This role is focused on providing responsive marketing campaigns across B2C and B2B channels primarily direct mail.

Your role will involve :

- Consistently exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through the proactive management and development of existing client relationships
- You will develop business solutions to meet clients needs and expectations
- Handle all objections, challenges and issues
- Competently present to clients both in person and via telephone
- Confidently manage internal relationships at all levels

You should understand mail order / catalogue markets and be able to successfully interpret results and produce relevant reports

You have a solid understanding of deduplication, hierarchies and data hygiene products

You have a good understanding of client databases and their target market

You are aware of best practice in the industry

Senior Account Director South West London £40k-£45k + £22k com + car allowance.

We are looking for a Senior Account Director with excellent consultative sales skills gained within the direct marketing and data market. You will have worked within consumer direct marketing / data and ideally will have some experience working with mail order clients.

Your role will include:

- Exceed annual client revenue targets
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the features, benefits and applications of all the company's products
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the UK mail order market, and the specific businesses and marketing requirements of your portfolio of clients
- Recognise and exploit up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to clients
- Work with clients on campaign planning and results analysis
- Work with data analysts to determine best data models to build for your clients

For this role you should have experience in consultative selling and negotiation within direct marketing / data.

You have a good understanding of direct marketing and database marketing, ideally with a good understanding of modelling and analytical techniques.

You should be able to negotiate at a senior level, possess excellent presentation skills and have strong consultative sales person skills.

You will likely have sales experience gained within a direct marketing environment (dm agency, list broker, data sales company, database company or data bureau).
