Karina and the

My experience
with Marketing Stars was very good.
This was the first time I had ever approached an agency,
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was constantly informed
of up to date opportunities and it was always a pleasure
to talk directly to the representative (Karina) who was
always warm and friendly.

| I found the service offered
by Marketing Stars to be of a high and professional standard.
The person whom I had near daily contact with was extremely
courteous, responsive and displayed a great level of integrity
in all areas of the recruitment process. Not at any stage
did I feel I was being coerced into taking the position
I had applied for which did give me some comfort/reassurance
that the final decision would indeed rest with me. I believe

My
first question when looking for new employment within
the industry was, “where do I start?” My answer, “Marketing
Stars!” An enormous industry; with many specialist areas,
but unfortunately very few recruitment agencies that
truly understand them or recognise we are individuals
with different requirements and skill sets.
From my first dealings with Karina I knew that I had
her undivided attention, support and that I was talking
to the right person; someone who truly understood what
I needed and didn’t push me into the first job that
matched my skill set. Karina spent time getting to know
who I am, what environment I would excel in and ultimately
where I would find my perfect match!
Throughout the entire process I was reassured that
any questions I had could be answered with one phone
call / e-mail to Karina. I went to every interview prepared
and armed with information about the company, people

Dear
Marketing Stars,
In my search for a new marketing job, I invariably
registered with the usual plethora of recruitment agencies.
As I expected, grand promises of great opportunities
landing at my feet were made, along with assurances
of undivided attention and regular contact – “We put
you first” the all too frequently unfulfilled guarantee.
Then I came across Marketing Stars.
With Marketing Stars my experience has been entirely
different. I was pleasantly surprised to not only receive

After a few weeks of visiting and registering with agencies both big and
small, I began to lose faith in the world of recruitment agencies. If a
suitable position was not found within the first few days, no further
contact from them ever came about. I felt as if my name had
disappeared into
the deep dark echelons of the database.
Then I came across Marketing Stars - my faith was restored! Not only did
they give further ideas regarding my CV by picking my brains and pointing
out skills that I had that I took for granted but should really be put down

In the world of recruitment consultancy today, it's all about sales!
This is the opinion I formed when looking for my most recent position. No matter how many times I relayed what I was looking for in a new role, time and time again I would get phone calls about positions that would bear no resemblance.
That was until I came across Philippa Spurrell at Marketing Stars (or did she find me?!).
